The increase in business failures increases with an increase of 2% in the number of bankruptcy proceedings at the end of May 2013 compared to the same period in 2012. A fast projection allows to estimate the number of 62,200 in 2013 on insolvency proceedings in France.

The notable element is the sharp increase of failures of medium-sized companies. Indeed, the number of business failures that carry more than 15 million sales increased by 16%. Regarding firms with more than 200 employees, it has increased by 33%!

Firm size is no longer a security guarantee particularly as this phenomenon accelerates the domino effect (business failure causes the failure of its suppliers).

It is more and more necessary to secure its receivables and apply the principles of credit management (assess, secure, recover) in his business, whatever its size.
